Submission of Poverty Figures, ST2023, and EPSS to the Government of Anambas Islands Regency

Tarempa, 18 December 2023. Head of the Anambas Islands Regency Central Statistics Agency (BPS), Adi Cahyadi, and his team submitted poverty figures, the results of the 2023 Agricultural Census (ST2023) Phase I, and the results of the Sectoral Statistics Implementation Evaluation (EPSS) to the Regency Regional Government Anambas Islands received by the Deputy Regent of Anambas Islands Regency, Wan Zuhendra, at the residence of the Deputy Regent of KKA. This activity was carried out by the head of BPS, young expert statistics and other staff. The handover begins with conveying the aims and objectives of the BPS head and team to the deputy regent. The aim of carrying out this activity is so that the strategic data of the Anambas Islands Regency can be known by the Regional Government, so that follow-up actions can be taken in making policies as well as evaluating development. The activity continued with data submission. The Head of BPS Anambas Islands Regency conveyed to the Deputy Regent that there were three strategic data that would be presented at this meeting, namely the poverty rate, ST2023 phase I results, and EPSS results. At the meeting, the Head of BPS said that:
  1. The poverty rate for Anambas Islands Regency in 2023 decreased by 0.56 compared to the previous year according to the Official News of Poverty Statistics (BRS) which is available in the following link http://s.bps.go.id/BRSKemiskinanKKA. The poverty rate for the Anambas Islands in 2022 is 7.51 and in 2023 it is 6.95. These figures show that in 2022 there will be 7.51% of the poor population, while in 2023 there will be 6.95% of the poor population in the Anambas Islands.
  2. Submission of ST2023 Phase I results. The Head of BPS KKA said that the 2023 agricultural census was already in the dissemination phase I. Apart from that, BPS KKA also handed over the ST2023 leaflet containing the ST2023 results ( https://sensus.bps.go.id/leaflet/ index/st2023?region=158&search= ) Anambas Islands Regency.
  3. The results of the Statistical Development Index (IPS) for the Anambas Islands Regency Government received the EPSS Sufficient predicate.

The Head of BPS Anambas Islands Regency hopes that in 2024 sectoral statistical development activities can be carried out intensively so that the data produced by Regional Apparatus Organizations (OPD) meets the National Statistical System (SSN). The Deputy Regent of Anambas Islands Regency expressed his gratitude for the performance of BPS Anambas Islands Regency in supporting the Regional Government and hoped for increased synergy and collaboration so that the Regional Government has data that is in accordance with the SSN.
