ANAMBAS (01/07/2026) — The Head of the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) of the Anambas Islands Regency, Adi Cahyadi, attended the Bhayangkara's 80th Anniversary Ceremony held at the Bhayangkara Building of the Anambas Islands Police Department, Riau Islands, on Wednesday (1/7). The event, themed "Polri for the Community," took place solemnly and included a thanksgiving ceremony as a token of gratitude for the Polri's dedication to the nation and state.

The ceremony was attended by the Regent of Anambas Islands, specifically the Regional Secretary of the Anambas Islands Regency, Sahtiar, S.H., M.M., members of the Regional Leadership Coordination Forum (Forkopimda), heads of vertical agencies, religious leaders, community leaders, and various community elements in the Anambas Islands Regency.

In his remarks, the Anambas Islands Police Chief, AKBP I Gusti Ngurah Agung Budianaloka, S.I.K., M.H., emphasized that the theme "Polri for the Community" reflects the National Police's commitment to continuously providing professional, humane, and community-oriented services. Every task and authority carried out must ensure a sense of security, uphold justice, and build public trust in the National Police institution.

The Police Chief also expressed his appreciation to all National Police personnel for their dedication and devotion to maintaining public order and security in the relatively inaccessible archipelago. In addition to maintaining security, the National Police also actively supports national development programs, strengthens food security, assists in disaster management, and participates in various social activities as a concrete manifestation of their dedication to the community.

On this occasion, the Head of the Statistics Indonesia (BPS) of the Anambas Islands Regency also conducted Communication, Coordination, and Diplomacy (KKD) with the Anambas Islands Police as an effort to strengthen inter-agency synergy in supporting the implementation of the 2026 Economic Census (SE2026). Through this coordination, BPS provided an overview of the stages of the 2026 SE implementation and the importance of cross-sectoral support to create a conducive environment during the data collection process.

The Anambas Islands Regency BPS hopes that the Anambas Islands Police will provide support for the 2026 SE implementation. This synergy is expected to increase respondent participation, ensuring a safe and smooth SE2026 implementation, and producing accurate and high-quality economic data that can be used as a basis for formulating economic development policies at the regional and national levels. Through this momentum, commemorating the 80th anniversary of Bhayangkara, it is hoped that collaboration between the Anambas Islands Regency BPS and the Anambas Islands Police will strengthen in supporting the implementation of strategic government programs, particularly the provision of quality statistical data through the 2026 Economic Census. Inter-agency synergy is one of the keys to successful development based on accurate and reliable data.
