Release Date : December 6, 2024
File Size : 1.24 MB

Abstract

  • The increase in the Anambas Islands Human Development Index in 2024 is supported by an increase in its three constituent dimensions, namely the dimension of longevity and healthy living as measured by Life Expectancy at Birth (UHH), the dimension of knowledge as measured by Expected Years of Schooling (HLS) and Average Years of Schooling (RLS), and the dimension of a decent standard of living as measured by the average real expenditure per capita per year adjusted.
  • The growth of the 2024 Human Development Index accelerated from the previous year. All dimensions forming the Human Development Index increased, especially the standard of living and knowledge.
  • In the dimension of longevity and healthy living, babies born in 2024 have the hope of living up to 73.77 years, an increase of 0.27 years compared to those born in the previous year. The data source for life expectancy at birth uses the results of the Long Form SP2020 (SP2020-LF).
  • In the knowledge dimension, the expected length of schooling (HLS) of the population aged 7 years increased by 0.01 years compared to the previous year, from 13.05 to 13.06 years, while the average length of schooling (RLS) of the population aged 25 years and over increased by 0.13 years, from 7.40 years to 7.53 years in 2024. The HLS and RLS data sources use the March Susenas results. The decent living standard dimension measured by the average real expenditure per capita per year (adjusted) increased by 488 thousand rupiah (3.91 percent) compared to the previous year. The data source for real expenditure per capita per year uses the March Susenas results.
