The 2023 Agricultural Census is one of the major activities carried out by the Central Bureau of Statistics throughout Indonesia, including the Kepulauan Anambas District. In order to socialize the 2023 Agricultural Census, BPS Kepulauan Anambas Regency participated in the SaBer (Clean Saturday) activity organized by the Kepulauan Anambas Regency Government, specifically Tarempa Village. Participation in this activity is also a form of friendship between BPS Kepulauan Anambas Regency and the local government.
The SaBer (Clean Saturday) activity is one of the commitments of the Kepulauan Anambas Regency Government, especially the Tarempa Village, to inspire the community to work together and maintain the cleanliness of the surrounding environment. The Kepulauan Anambas District Head together with Forkopimda, and Ministry/Institution/Regional Works units/Other Institutions also participated in the SaBer (Clean Saturday) activity which was held at the Lanal Tarempa Apel Field, Saturday morning (7/1/2023). The activity began with joint gymnastics, followed by a coffee morning event followed by a speech by the Regent of Kepulauan Anambas Regency and ended with cleaning up trash around the beach. In his remarks, the Kepulauan Anambas Regent appealed to the public to keep our environment clean and not to throw garbage into the sea. He also appreciated Tarempa Village for carrying out this positive activity and hoped it would continue.
According to the Head of BPS Kepulauan Anambas Regency, Adi Cahyadi, "This SaBer activity is an important moment that must be taken in terms of cross-sectoral collaboration as well as introducing the 2023 Agricultural Census which will be held in the middle of this year".
"Apart from strengthening relations, BPS Anambas also introduced the 2023 Agricultural Census through participation in this activity. It is hoped that later the Anambas community will be able to accept the arrival of the 2023 Agricultural Census officers in order to achieve a common goal, namely, to record Indonesian agriculture for food sovereignty and farmer welfare in accordance with the 2023 Agricultural Census tagline, said Martin, First Statistical Expert Functional.
As a form of massive socialization of the 2023 Agricultural Census, all BPS employees of the Kepulauan Anambas Regency compactly attended the SaBer (Clean Saturday) activity wearing ST2023 shirts to indirectly publicize this activity.
