News of the Inauguration of the team to accelerate financial access for the Anambas Islands Regency

Tarempa, 17 October 2023. Head of the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) of Anambas Islands Regency, Adi Cahyadi, attended the inauguration of the Regional Financial Access Acceleration Team (TPAKD) of Anambas Islands Regency for the 2023-2025 period by the Regent of Anambas Islands Regency which took place in the Muhammad Zen meeting hall on the floor III Pasir Peti Regent's Office, Anambas Islands Regency. The activity was attended by elements of the Riau Islands Financial Services Authority (OJK) office and 26 other members consisting of regional governments, regulators, related vertical institutions/agencies, Financial Services Institutions (LJK), LJK associations, and academics in the Anambas Islands Regency. The series of inauguration events began with the singing of the Indonesian Raya song and continued with an inauguration procession by the Regent of the Anambas Islands Regency. During the event, a speech was delivered by the Regent of the Anambas Islands Regency, Abdul Haris, who expressed his hopes regarding the strong commitment and support from all stakeholders in the Anambas Islands who have an important role in encouraging the regional access acceleration program in recovering the post-pandemic economy. TPAKD is expected to be able to foster positive synergy between regional stakeholders and be able to encourage independence and develop strategic sectors of the domestic economy through increasing the role of the financial services sector, so that in turn it can improve community welfare. Apart from that, Deputy Head of the Riau Islands OJK, Demi Tri Aryadi, also delivered a speech. In his speech, Demi Tri Aryadi said that with the existence of TPAKD, it is hoped that regional financial access and security will improve and develop. He conveyed a message to all parties to increase financial awareness by paying attention to the legality of the OJK.

The Central Statistics Agency has an important role as a member to carry out its duties and obligations, namely:

1. Evaluate and identify problems related to financial access in the region.
2. Formulate policy recommendations related to programs to accelerate financial access in the regions.
3. Evaluate the implementation of the financial access acceleration program in the regions. 
4. Provide input to the Regional Government to address opportunities and challenges related to financial access for the community in the area.
5. Coordinate activities or programs to accelerate financial access in the regions.
6. Monitoring or supervising the implementation of programs related to increasing regional financial access.
7. Carrying out coaching functions for the implementation of the TPAKD program.
8. Carrying out outreach and publications to the community and stakeholders regarding financial access programs in the regions.
9. Conduct TPAKD coordination meetings.
10. Prepare and submit TPAKD Quarterly Reports in accordance with TPAKD report provisions.
