Abstract

Human development in the Kepulauan Anambas Regency in 2019 continues to experience progress marked by the continued increase in the Human Development Index (HDI) of the Kepulauan Anambas Regency. In 2019, the Kepulauan Anambas Regency HDI reached 68.48. This figure increased by 0.95 points compared to the HDI of Kepulauan Anambas Regency in 2018 which was 67.53.

In 2019, human development in Kepulauan Anambas Regency has a "medium" status, the same as its status in 2018. HDI Kepulauan Anambas Regency in 2019 grew by 1.41 percent compared to 2018.
The HDI component also experienced an increase. Newborns have the opportunity to live up to 67.06 years, an increase of 0.15 years compared to the previous year. Children aged 7 years have the opportunity to attend school for 12.75 years, an increase of 0.43 years compared to 2018. The population aged 25 years and over has an average of 6.91 years of education, an increase of 0.21 years compared previous year. The adjusted per capita expenditure has reached 12.065 million rupiah per capita per year in 2019, an increase of 171 thousand rupiah compared to the previous year.
