Abstract

    The Human Development Index (IPM) in 2022 has increased compared to 2021. The Kepulauan Anambas's HDI in 2022 reached 69.61, an increase of 0.38 points or a growth of 0.55 percent compared to the achievements in 2021.
  • The increase in the 2022 HDI is supported by an increase in the three constituent dimensions, namely the dimensions of longevity and healthy life as measured by Life Expectancy at Birth (UHH), the knowledge dimension as measured by Expectation of Long Schooling (HLS) and Average Years of Schooling (RLS), and the dimension of a decent standard of living as measured through the adjusted average real expenditure per capita per year.
  • In terms of the dimensions of longevity and healthy life, UHH at birth in Anambas Islands Regency is 67.73, meaning that babies born in 2022 have the hope of being able to live up to 67.73 years, 0.37 years longer than babies born in 2021.
  • In terms of the knowledge dimension, the HLS in Kepulauan Anambas is 12.89, meaning that residents aged 7 years in 2022 have hopes of enjoying 12.89 years of education, or almost the equivalent of the length of time they have to carry out a junior high school level education. This figure has increased by 0.01 years compared to 2021. In addition, the RLS in Kepulauan Anambas is 7.38, meaning that the average length of schooling for residents aged 25 and over in 2022 is 7.38 years, an increase of 0.04 years compared to year 2021.
  • In terms of the dimensions of a decent standard of living, adjusted annual real per capita spending in Kepulauan Anambas is Rp. 12,137,000, an increase of 187,000 compared to 2021.
